[스페인 가족여행] 여행의 시작 - 계획 세우기

일단 출발하기로 마음을 먹자! 그럼 되었다!
'둥둥 걷어 붙인 하얀 셔츠에 무심히 린넨 블레이저를 걸치고 배낭 하나만 둘러메면 끝!!!' 은 나와는 거리가 멀다...
난 계획이 필요하다. 
그렇게 2015년 2차 가족 유럽 여행은 시작이 되었다.
 
나의 여행 계획 수립 Process는 이렇다
1. 여행할 도시 결정하기 - 각종 여행 블로그 + 구글링 + 여행사 상품 + 구글맵
2. 도시간 이동 동선 짜기 - 렌트(auto)가능여부 및 cost + 구글맵
3. 도시내 들러볼 곳 결정 하기 - 각종 여행 블로그 + 구글링 + 여행사 상품 + 구글맵
4. 도시내 들를 곳 순서/동선 짜기 - 가족의 체력 / 동의 + 구글맵
5. 주차장 찾기 - 구글링 + Parkopedia(app) + 구글맵 (<-- 경우에 따라서는 4번과 5번이 바뀌기도 한다)
 
아마 다들 이렇게 하지 않을까?

퇴근후 늦은 저녁 느긋하게 앉아 구글맵을 보며 이리저리 동선을 그리다 보면 나는 그 지도위를 달리고 있다.
'여기서 좌회전이고.. 아! 저기 랜드마크가 있고.. 저 성당의 파사드는...'
자판을 튕기는 지금 이 순간에도 그 순간의 기억에 기분이 좋다.
 
난 계획 세우는 것을 즐긴다.

As for me, wearing a loosely fitted white shirt and casually throwing on a linen blazer, and just wrapping a backpack around me would be enough, but that's far from my reality...
I need a plan.
And with that, the second family trip to Europe in 2015 began.
 
My process for establishing travel plans is as follows:
1. Choose the city to visit - various travel blogs + Google search + travel agency packages + Google Maps
2. Plan the itinerary between cities - consider rental car(Auto) availability and cost + Google Maps
3. Decide on places to visit within the city - various travel blogs + Google search + travel agency packages + Google Maps
4. Plan the order/itinerary of places to visit within the city - consider family's physical condition/agreement + Google Maps
5. Find parking spots - Google search + Parkopedia(app) + Google Maps (Note: Steps 4 and 5 may sometimes be reversed depending on the situation)
 
I imagine many people would plan their trips in a similar way, don't you agree?

After coming home from work and relaxing in the late evening, I enjoy leisurely looking at Google Maps and drawing out various itineraries. It feels as though I am traversing the map myself.
"There's a left turn here... Ah! There's a landmark over there... The façade of that cathedral..."
Even as I type this out, my fingers bouncing off the keyboard, the memory of those moments brings me joy.

I truly enjoy making travel plans.
